Please note that effective April 15, 2024, burning permits are required. Permits can be downloaded from the Ships Point Improvement District website (www.SPID.ca) under the Fire Department tab and taken to any SPID fire fighter for approval. A reminder that beach fires are NOT allowed anywhere within the Ships Point Improvement District at any time of year and home campfires must be ULC/CSA approved or inspected and approved by the Fire Chief.
